Audit assurance

We are Registered Auditors and regulated by the ACCA.

Audits are performed to ascertain the validity and reliability of information, and,  to provide an assessment of a system's internal controls. The goal of an audit is to express an opinion on the organization in question, under evaluation based on work done on a test basis. An audit seeks to provide reasonable assurance that the statements are free from material error.

Such systems must adhere to generally accepted standards set by governing bodies regulating businesses; these standards simply provide assurance for third parties or external users that such statements present a company's financial condition and results of operations "fairly."

We believe that a company audit should be a useful and value-enhancing exercise, whether or not you are required to have your accounts audited by statute. We approach our audits from a ‘risk-based' perspective, concentrating on key areas that we have identified through our audit planning exercise and from our knowledge of the client. This keeps audit costs to a minimum, whilst adding value to the business.

  • Statutory audits required by Companies Act.

  • Charity audits required by Charities Commission.

  • Special audits requested by owners of the business.
